What happens to me when a crisis happens?

What can we do to find hope in our Crisis?

1. Accept the crisis.

2. Absorb the pain.

“Is what I’m holding on to stronger than what I’ll go through?” – Max Lucado

3. Abstain from bitterness.

Keep silent and let me speak; then let come to me what may. Why do I put myself in jeopardy and take my life in my hands? Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him; I will surely defend my ways to his face. Indeed, this will turn out for my deliverance, for no godless person would dare come before him!” – Job 13:13-16 NIV

4. Abide in peace.

“We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us…” – Hebrews 6:18-20 MSG

5. Adjust to the future.

“How you deal with grief (crisis) is tremendously affected by how you view God.” – Dr. Richard Dobbins

“Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!”

 “m’aider”  – “help me”

I look up to the mountains; does my strength come from mountains? No, my strength comes from God, who made heaven, and earth, and mountains. – Psalm 121:1-2 MSG
