Hope is Here

for you

through you

Someone can find hope – through what you once thought hopeless.

Someone can find life – through what you experienced as death.

“How you deal with grief is tremendously affected by how you view God.” – Dr. Richard Dobbins

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in you patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer.

And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. – 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 NIV

Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, - 2 Corinthians 1:9-10 NIV

Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; - 2 Corinthians 6:4-5 NIV

What makes a person want to turn their pain into hope for others?

Passion = 'pati' = 'to suffer'

passion is what moves you to persevere at something despite fear, unhappiness or pain.

No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. – 1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV

Hope is Here

Father God cares about you.

You can find hope in Jesus.

Others can find hope through you.
